You can select from Tasmanian Oak or Pine Wood
(1) Tasmanian Oak is a high-quality Australian hardwood sourced from Tasmania's mountainous regions. The wood exhibits a range of colours from reddish-brown to shades of cream and pink. Please be aware that we do not match colours, as the wood can vary significantly. If you wish to match it with existing furniture, flooring, or doors, consider ordering it in raw form to stain later. This wood is also quite heavy.
(2) Pine wood (Radiata Pine) is a softwood originally from California but extensively cultivated in Australia and New Zealand. It has a fine texture, though uneven knots are common. The timber is relatively soft and has a low density.

Raw wood - The item is sanded to a smooth finish without any varnish or paint. If you choose this option, (1) you will need to paint or varnish it to your desired colour or stain (2) avoid placing wet items on this shelf (3) it is intended for indoor use only.
Clear varnish - This finish highlights the natural tones and grains of the Tasmanian oak wood while providing a protective coating.

🔘 M O U N T I N G
1. For optimal security, attach a screw into a stud (the wooden framework behind drywall). The Tasmanian oak shelf is quite heavy (the 60cm version weighs 3kg).
2. If a stud is unavailable, you can use the self-drilling plasterboard anchors and screws we provide. We are not liable for any fastening failures due to plasterboard or incorrect installation.
3. For brick or cement walls, please select the appropriate hardware from the dropdown menu.
4. Given the weight, especially for plasterboard walls, it is recommended to obtain your own screws and anchors suitable for your wall type. Consult your builder for advice.

When loaded with wine bottles and glasses, the shelf will be heavy (particularly with Tasmanian Oak), so it is advisable to secure it to a stud or solid wall, or use strong anchors for plasterboard walls that are appropriate for your wall type.
