Eight arms · One tier · 95 cm across

A proper farmhouse chandelier, not a scaled-down one.

Eight candle arms sweeping off a turned black column, with no shades and no glass to hide behind. It reads as a silhouette — so it fills a room visually without blocking the sightline across it.

Eight arms on a single tier. The curve is formed, not cast — that is what gives the S its line.

Scale

95 cm wide. That is the whole point.

At 95 cm across and 47 cm tall, this is a statement fitting rather than a feature light. Over a round table it reaches almost to the edge; over a rectangular table it anchors the centre without needing a second pendant.

Every figure here is the manufacturer's own measurement, not an estimate.

Room sizes it suits

As a rule of thumb, a 95 cm fitting wants a table of at least 120 cm, or an open entry of around 3 x 3 m. In a small dining nook it will overwhelm the space — the 6-light below is the better choice there.

Choosing between the two

6-light or 8-light? Here is the honest difference.

These two are the same design in the same finish, and they are exactly the same size — both 95 cm across and 47 cm tall, both single tier, both on a 90 cm chain. The only thing that changes is how many arms are packed onto that ring.

6-light version of the same farmhouse chandelier
6-light More spacing, lighter look
  • 6 x E14 arms, max 40 W each
  • 95 cm wide x 47 cm tall
  • Wider gaps between arms — reads more open
  • Suits a standard dining table or a bedroom

8-light — this listing Fuller ring, more light
  • 8 x E14 arms, max 40 W each
  • 95 cm wide x 47 cm tall — identical footprint
  • Two extra arms: denser silhouette, around a third more output
  • Suits a long table, an entry, or a double-height space

Short version: if you want presence and light, take the 8-light. If you want the same silhouette with more air between the arms, take the 6-light. Neither is physically bigger than the other.

Hanging height

The chain adjusts from 0 to 90 cm.

Hang it low over a table, or take links out and bring it close to the ceiling in an entry. The same fitting does both, and your electrician can shorten the chain at installation in a couple of minutes.

Sloped ceilings are fine too

Because it hangs on a chain rather than a rigid rod, it hangs plumb on flat, slanted, vaulted and raked ceilings alike.

The details

Where the money went.

1Formed steel armsAlloy steel, bent rather than cast, so the S-curve runs continuous with no join line.
2Matte black finishFlat, non-reflective black across the whole frame — no gloss hotspots under the bulbs.
3Turned centre columnA shaped spindle with a finial beneath, which is what separates this from a plain ring fitting.
4Dished bobechesA proper cup under each candle sleeve rather than a flat disc.
514 cm steel canopyCovers a standard ceiling rose and carries the full weight of the fitting.
6Pre-wired armsArms arrive wired and threaded, so assembly is bolting up rather than wiring out.

In the room

Over a table it sits like this.

Over a round table, the 95 cm span reaches close to the table edge.

And in an entry.

In an entry or stairwell, a wide flat silhouette reads better than a tall fitting.

Bulbs and wiring

Bulbs are not included — on purpose.

It takes 8 x E14 candle bulbs, 40 W maximum each. Leaving them out means you pick the colour temperature yourself rather than inheriting whatever the factory packed. For a warm farmhouse look, 2700 K LED candles are the usual choice.

Pair dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer and the whole fitting dims. Incandescent, LED and halogen all fit the same E14 socket.

It is a hard-wired fitting

There is no plug and no cord. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician, which is the correct way to install a hard-wired ceiling fitting in Australia. All mounting hardware and instructions are in the box.

Questions

What people ask before buying.

Is the 8-light bigger than the 6-light?

No. Both are 95 cm across and 47 cm tall. The 8-light simply fits two more arms onto the same ring, so the silhouette is denser and the light output higher.

Are bulbs included?

No. It needs 8 x E14 candle bulbs, 40 W maximum each, so you can choose the warmth and brightness yourself.

Can I shorten the chain?

Yes. The chain adjusts anywhere from 0 to 90 cm — the extra links simply come out. Your electrician can do it during installation.

Will it fit a sloped or raked ceiling?

Yes. It hangs on a chain, so it hangs plumb on flat, sloped, vaulted and raked ceilings alike.

Can I install it myself?

It is a hard-wired fitting with no plug, so we recommend a licensed electrician. All the mounting hardware and instructions are supplied.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable bulbs with a dimmer switch rated for them. The fitting itself places no limit on it.

How heavy is it, and will my ceiling take it?

It is a steel fitting on a 14 cm canopy and mounts to a standard ceiling point. Your electrician will confirm the fixing on the day — that is routine for a chandelier of this span.

What if it arrives damaged?

Tell us and we will replace it. Returns are 30-day, and we cover the return cost when something arrives faulty.
