Installation — please read before you buy
This is a hardwired ceiling fixture. Under Australian law it must be installed by a licensed electrician and wired to AS/NZS 3000. There is no plug or cord, and it is not a DIY fitting — doing it yourself can void both your home insurance and the warranty.
Check before wiring it to a dimmer. Unless the specifications above say the fixture is dimmable, a conventional wall dimmer can damage an integrated LED driver. If in doubt, a standard on/off switch is the safe option.
Budget for an electrician's call-out. Most installations are a straightforward swap for an existing ceiling fitting.
Getting the drop right
- Over a dining table — about 75–90cm from the tabletop to the bottom of the fixture, centred on the table rather than the room.
- In a living area or hallway — leave at least 2.1m of clear head height underneath.
- In a stairwell or void — hang it so the fixture sits in the upper third of the space.

Are globes included?
