The handlebar lifts off. That one detail is what turns a desk walker into something you can actually run on, and back again, in about ten seconds.
Three machines, one deck
Handlebar off, it slides under a desk at walking pace. Handlebar on, you have something to hold at a jog. Push the speed up and it runs. Most pads make you choose one of those at the point of purchase; this one does not.
Speed runs from roughly 1 to 10 km/h, which covers a slow desk walk through to a genuine run.
9% incline
Raising the deck makes your legs work considerably harder at the same speed. For anyone walking through the working day, that is the difference between passing time and actually training — without having to break into a run in a home office.
Quiet enough to take a call on
A 2.5HP brushless servo motor rated under 45 decibels — around the level of a quiet library. That matters more than it sounds: a treadmill you cannot use during a meeting is a treadmill you use far less often.
Built for knees, not just cardio
A triple shock-absorbing system under a five-layer anti-slip belt. That stack is what you notice in week three rather than on day one. Rated to 120 kg.
Stores flat
Folded it measures roughly 112 × 55 × 11 cm — thin enough to go under a bed, a sofa or a desk rather than living in the corner of a room. An LED display tracks speed, distance, time and calories, and a remote handles speed changes without breaking stride.
In the box
- Mersco 3-in-1 walking pad (Black)
- Removable handlebar

Worth knowing before you buy: the treadmill itself plugs into mains power, but the remote runs on 2 AAA batteries which are not supplied. Grab a pack at the same time if you want it working the moment it is unboxed.

Common questions
Is the incline motorised?
No, it is manual. You set it before you start rather than adjusting it from the display mid-session.
Can I really run on it, or is it walking only?
Both. Up to about 10 km/h with the handlebar fitted, and a slow walking pace with it removed and the pad under a desk.
How hard is it to take the handlebar off?
It is designed to come off and go back on without tools, so switching between desk mode and jogging mode takes seconds rather than a rebuild.
Will it fit under my desk?
With the handlebar removed, yes — the deck is about 11 cm thick. Folded for storage it is the same height, so it slides under a bed or sofa too.
