Delivery & Returns
Allow 4 weeks for delivery. This set is brought in to order rather than held in a warehouse. It ships in several cartons and we will keep you updated at each stage. If you are furnishing to a deadline, tell us the date before you order and we will be straight with you about whether it will make it.
A dining table with no corners and no legs at the ends. Six people sit down without anyone straddling a leg or edging around a sharp corner — which is the difference between a table that seats six and one that comfortably seats six.
A true oval, not a rectangle with rounded ends. The curve means everyone at the table can see everyone else, and nobody is stuck at a corner looking down the length of it. In an open-plan room it also gives you a clear walking line on both sides, where a rectangular table forces you around the ends.
Because the base is a central pedestal rather than four legs, chair placement is genuinely free. You can seat six comfortably, or push to seven at a squeeze, without anyone negotiating a table leg.
The contrast is what makes it. A deep, near-black stone surface sits on a sculpted walnut-finish pedestal, so the table reads as two materials rather than one slab. It is the detail that keeps a large dark table from feeling heavy.
The surface wipes clean — it is the practical choice for a table that gets used every night rather than kept for occasions. Use a trivet for anything straight off the stove.
Cream upholstered seats and curved backrests on slim walnut-finish frames, with a low arm that tucks under the table edge. The curve is set to actually support your back, which matters at a table where people linger after the plates are cleared.
They are matched to the table rather than bought alongside it, so the wood tone and proportion line up instead of nearly lining up.
Free delivery, tracked Australia-wide. Brought in to order, so allow 4 weeks. Ships in multiple cartons with edge and corner protection. 30-day returns, and if anything arrives damaged we cover the return cost.
Why does it take 4 weeks?
We bring the set in to order rather than warehousing it, which is what lets us price a six-seater set where we do. If you need a dining table this month, this is not the right one.
Does it really seat six?
Yes, and comfortably — six chairs are included. The central pedestal is what makes the difference, because there are no legs dictating where chairs can go.
How much room do I need?
Allow about a metre of clear space around the table so chairs can be pushed back and people can walk behind them. Mark the footprint out with tape before you order.
Is assembly difficult?
The base bolts together and the top lowers onto it; chairs arrive largely assembled. Fittings and instructions are included. The tabletop is heavy — have two people for that step.
Will it all arrive at once?
It ships in several cartons and they can occasionally arrive a day or two apart. If something is still missing after that, contact us and we will chase it.
