PZL Replacement Remote

Your walking pad still works. The remote doesn't.

A direct replacement handset for Sperax and CURSOR Fitness walking pads. No pairing, no programming — put two AAA batteries in and it works. Buy one as a replacement, or keep it in a drawer as the spare you will eventually need.

The PZL replacement treadmill remote, front and back

Four buttons, infrared, nothing to set up.

Which machines it fits

Sperax XM-Q1 under-desk treadmill, and CURSOR Fitness SMUG T1, C1, S1, M55, Q2, Q2-1 and S2-1 walking pads. That is the manufacturer's list, and it is the whole list.

If your machine is not named there, do not order it hoping. Send us a photo of your old remote and we will tell you whether it matches — a two-minute check that saves a return.

Read This First

Check the button order, not just the shape.

This is the single most important thing on the page. Several walking pad remotes look near-identical and carry the same four symbols, but in a different sequence — and a remote with the right buttons in the wrong order is the wrong remote.

Button layout showing plus, M, on-off, minus from top to bottom

Top to bottom: plus, M, ON/OFF, minus. Compare this against yours before ordering.

The order on this one, top to bottom

  • + — speed up
  • M — mode
  • ON/OFF — start and stop
  • − — slow down
Hold your old remote next to that photo. If your ON/OFF sits above the M, or the minus is second from the top, yours is a different handset and this one will not be a match.

Setting It Up

Two batteries. That is the entire process.

The remote operating a folding walking pad across a room

Works up to 8 metres away, line of sight.

Nothing to pair

This is an infrared remote, not a Bluetooth one. There is no pairing step, no code to enter and no sequence to hold down. Fit the batteries, point it at the console and press a button.

Batteries are not included

It takes two AAA batteries and they do not come in the box. Worth adding to the shopping list now rather than discovering it when the parcel arrives.

Point it at the console

Infrared needs line of sight to the sensor on the machine. It reaches about 8 metres, which is more than enough for a walking pad under a desk — but it will not work through a cupboard door or from another room.

It is a remote, not a safety key

Worth saying plainly: this replaces the handset only. If your treadmill also uses a magnetic safety key and that is what has gone missing, this will not help - that is a different part and you should ask us about it separately.

Straight Talk

What this is, and what it isn't.

Buy it ifYour original handset is lost, broken or unresponsive, and your machine is on the list above. It is also sensible as a spare — a walking pad with no working remote is an expensive doorstop, and these are small enough to keep in a drawer.
Don't buy it ifYour treadmill pairs over Bluetooth or runs from an app, or your machine isn't named above. A universal remote this is not, and no amount of button-pressing will make it talk to a machine it was not built for.

If your old remote stopped working, try this first

Before spending anything: put fresh batteries in the old one and wipe the little window at the top with a dry cloth. A flat battery and a dusty emitter account for a good share of remotes declared dead. If that fixes it, you have saved $36.99 and we would rather tell you than sell you one.

Questions

What parents ask before buying.

Will it work with my treadmill?

It fits the Sperax XM-Q1 and the CURSOR Fitness SMUG T1, C1, S1, M55, Q2, Q2-1 and S2-1. If yours isn't on that list, email us a photo of your old remote before ordering. Matching the button order matters as much as the brand name.

Do I need to pair or program it?

No. It's an infrared remote, so there is no pairing, no code and no setup sequence. Put two AAA batteries in and it works immediately.

Are batteries included?

No. It takes two AAA batteries and they are not supplied. The remote comes on its own.

How far away does it work?

Up to about 8 metres with a clear line of sight to the sensor on the machine. Infrared won't work through furniture or walls.

My remote looks the same but the buttons are in a different order — will it still work?

No. Several walking pad remotes share the same four symbols in different sequences. This one is plus, M, ON/OFF, minus from top to bottom. If yours differs, it's a different handset.

Is this the original manufacturer's remote?

No, it's a PZL replacement built to work with those machines, not a genuine Sperax or CURSOR Fitness part. That's why it costs what it does.

What if it arrives and doesn't work with my machine?

You have 30 days to return it. If it arrives faulty we cover the return freight. If it simply isn't a match for your treadmill, send it back within 30 days unused — though a quick photo check with us beforehand usually avoids that entirely.
