Rimposky · Clamp-mounted desk bar
A light bar that spans the whole desk rather than pooling in one corner. It clamps to the back edge, so the desk stays clear, and the arm reaches out over a dual-monitor setup to light the keyboard, the paperwork and the space between.
The same lamp in two spans. Everything else — the controls, the remote, the colour range, the clamp — is identical.

If in doubt, take the Large. Most complaints about desk lamps are about reach, not brightness, and the 4-segment bar folds inward when you want the light concentrated rather than spread.
Two numbers separate a work light from a cheap lamp.
| CRI above 95 | Colour Rendering Index. At 95+ colours look as they do in daylight, which matters for anyone reading documents, matching colours, sewing or editing images. Budget lamps typically sit near 80. |
| 45° directional angle | The light is thrown down and across the desk rather than out at the face, so there is no glare on a screen and nothing shining into your eyes. |
It is also rated no glare, no flicker and no ghosting. Flicker is the one that matters over an eight-hour day: invisible to the eye but a known cause of eye strain and headaches in offices lit by cheap LEDs.
Five colour temperatures — 3200K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K and 6500K — five brightness levels from 20% to 100%, and six preset scenes. That is 25 combinations before the presets — warm and low for evening reading, cool and bright for detail work.
Controlled either from the buttons on the bar or the infrared remote. The remote sets brightness, colour temperature, the six scene presets and 1, 2 or 4-hour timers, so it switches itself off at the end of a session.
The metal clamp with anti-slip pads grips the back edge of the desk, and the gooseneck arm bends through 180° to put the light exactly where it is needed. There is no base taking up room next to the keyboard, and nothing to knock over.
The clamp grips any desk edge up to 7cm thick, the arm stands 70cm above it, and the bar itself rotates 90° and 180° at the joints with each head turning a full 360°.
If you are fitting out more than a handful of desks, a few things make this an easier choice than a standard desk lamp:
