The Rohent N06 is a single-camera baby car monitor for one back seat. A 1080P camera with a 150 degree lens straps to the headrest, and a compact 4.3 inch screen sits on the dash or windscreen. Choose USB power or the 12V car-socket version.

The 4.3 inch LCD is small enough to sit neatly on the dash or windscreen, and a suction-cup bracket lets you angle it toward you. You get a 1080P colour view of the back seat, which you can't get from a back-seat mirror once it's dark.
150 degrees across the back
The wide-angle lens takes in the back seat, and the maker shows it covering one child or two or three in a row. The camera rotates 360 degrees to suit a rear-facing capsule or a forward-facing seat. For two separate views side by side, choose one of our dual kits.
940nm night vision
After dark the camera switches to 940nm infrared. Unlike 850nm, it doesn't show a red glow. Menu, Up and Down buttons on the monitor set brightness, contrast, colour, hue, zoom and language, and switch between a mirror image and a normal image.
Strap, tighten, plug in
Loop the strap over the headrest, tighten the vertical and horizontal straps, rotate the camera, then stick the monitor on the windscreen or dash and plug in. The power cable's about 4.9 metres, long enough to route along the trim. The maker lists sedans, SUVs, vans and utes.
Daycare pick-up in June
It's 5pm in winter and already dark on the way home from daycare. Your little one's rear-facing, so the mirror shows nothing but a headrest. The screen shows the infrared picture: asleep, or chewing a sock. You keep driving. If they need you, you pull over. It's a glance, not a screen to watch.

Which power option should I choose?
Pick USB if there's a USB port near your dash, or the cigarette lighter version for the 12V socket. The camera and monitor are the same.
Can it see two children?
Yes, in one shared view. The 150 degree lens takes in the back seat; for two separate pictures, a dual kit suits better.
Does it work for a rear-facing seat?
Yes. Strap it to the headrest facing the seat and rotate it until your child's centred.
Will the night vision glow red?
No. It uses 940nm infrared, which doesn't give a visible red glow.
Can I flip the image?
Yes. You can switch between a mirror image and a normal image in the menu.
