Camera only: it plugs into a screen you already have
This is a camera only, with no screen in the box. The Rohent N11 connects by RCA video cable to a head unit or monitor that has a camera input, and sits on a slim bracket above your number plate. It's for drivers who already have a screen and want a 170° view behind the car.

Check your screen first
Before you order, check that your head unit, factory screen or aftermarket monitor has an RCA camera input. The N11 sends an analogue picture (800TVL, per the maker) through an RCA cable, and the maker says it works with factory and aftermarket displays that take that signal. Some factory screens need a separate adaptor.
Sits above the number plate
The camera rides on a slim metal bracket across the top of the plate. It's designed not to cover the plate or any of its details, and from behind it looks like a small dark bar. It suits cars, utes, SUVs, vans and sedans.
170 degrees behind you
The wide lens takes in kerbs, bins, posts and the car parked behind. It's a driving aid, so keep using your mirrors and look over your shoulder, especially around kids and pets.
Backing out of the driveway at night
It's 9pm, the street lights are dim and the wheelie bins are out. Six LEDs around the lens and a 0.03 lux low-light sensor keep the picture usable on your screen, as the maker's day and night shots show.
Rated IP69K
The camera carries an IP69K waterproof rating, so rain, red dust, hot summers and the car wash are all fine. Give the lens a wipe now and then and the picture stays clear.
Guide lines and image flip
Parking lines can be on or off, and the image can be flipped between normal and mirror view. You set both during installation. If your screen already draws its own guide lines, switch the camera's off so they don't double up.
What's in the box
The camera, a power cord, an RCA video cable and T-taps for tapping into the reverse light circuit. It runs on 12V to 24V. A confident DIYer can fit it; otherwise an auto electrician can do it quickly.
