Two thick wood-look shelves that seem to float on the wall, for books, plants and the things worth showing off.
This set of two floating shelves gives a wall somewhere to put the photos, plants and keepsakes that crowd a benchtop. Each shelf is 60cm long and a chunky 3.8cm thick in a rustic brown wood finish, and the brackets hide inside the shelf so nothing shows from the front.
Hidden brackets, clean lines
Each shelf slides over a twin-rod iron bracket that is screwed to the wall first, so once it's up you see only the timber-look board. It's the look of a built-in shelf without the carpenter.
Holds up to 10kg each
Fixed properly into studs or with the wall plugs supplied, each shelf takes up to about 10kg, enough for a row of paperbacks, a couple of potted plants or kitchen jars.
Right-sized for most walls
At 60cm long and 20cm deep they suit a hallway, above a desk, beside a bed or in a bathroom. Hang them side by side, one above the other or staggered like a ladder.
Fixings for brick or plasterboard
Two kinds of wall plugs come in the box, one for solid walls and one for hollow ones, along with the screws and instructions. Most people have both shelves up in about ten minutes with a drill and a level.

Can you see the brackets?
No. The bracket sits inside the shelf, so from the front it looks like the shelf is floating.
How much can each shelf hold?
Up to about 10kg each when fixed securely. For heavier loads, screw into a stud.
Will it work on plasterboard?
Yes. Wall plugs for hollow walls are included, as well as plugs for brick and concrete.
Is it real wood?
It's an engineered wood board with a rustic brown wood-grain finish.
What if it arrives damaged?
