The Yakry Y11 is a wired reversing camera that mounts behind your licence plate, with a compact 4.3 inch monitor for the windscreen or dash. It's for cars, utes and SUVs that don't have a factory camera. You can wire it to come on in reverse or run it all the time from the 12V socket.

Hidden behind the plate
The camera sits on a bar that mounts behind your licence plate, so only the small lens housing shows. It gives a 150 degree view behind you, which the maker picked to keep the picture natural rather than stretched at the edges.
Six LEDs, or none
The 1080P camera gives a colour picture in daylight, and six LED lights help at night. If you'd rather not have them, cut the marked green wire and they're off. You can also switch between a rear view and a mirror view.
Wire it for reverse, or run it always
Wire the camera to your reverse light and it comes on when you select reverse. Or power it through the switched cigarette lighter adapter and it runs whenever the monitor's on, for a rear view while you drive. A 4-pin connector joins camera and monitor.
Out of a tight driveway at night
Narrow inner-city driveway, cars parked on both sides of the street, and it's dark. Select reverse and the LEDs light up the footpath while the guide lines show your line. You still look over your shoulder for bikes and people. The camera just shows you the bit the mirrors don't.
Rated for the back of a car
The camera's rated IP69, with a six-element glass lens, and the maker lists about minus 30 to 80 degrees Celsius. It's built for rain, road grime and summer heat, so it can stay fitted all year.
