Delivery & Returns
Lock the phone away for an hour, or four days
The ySky lock box keeps your phone behind a clear lid until the timer runs out, anywhere up to 99 hours and 59 minutes, and you can still answer calls through it. It's for students at exam time, anyone who wants a phone-free dinner, and parents setting firm screen-time limits.

Set, press twice, locked
Put the phone in and close the lid. Press the power button, set the hours and minutes, then press it twice to lock. The display counts down, and the box stays shut until it hits zero.

Ten seconds to change your mind
After you confirm, a 10-second countdown runs before the box locks. Press the power button once to cancel. After that it won't open until the time's up, so pick a sensible time for the first few goes.
Exam week at the kitchen table
Three hours of study before dinner and the phone keeps buzzing. Set it for three hours, drop it in screen-down and close the lid. If Mum rings, you can still answer through earphones or the holes in the lid. Everything else waits.

Screen up or screen down
Screen-side up, you can still use some features through the small holes in the lid, but not games. Screen-side down, you can only handle calls, through earphones, Siri or the holes. For kids, screen-down is the one to use.
Calls still get through
Answer or hang up through earphones, Siri or the holes in the clear lid. The board keeps reserve power, so the box still unlocks on time even if the main battery runs flat.

Five emergency unlocks
Press the top-left button ten times to open it early. You get five, and they reset after the box runs flat and is recharged. They're for genuine emergencies, so use them sparingly.
USB-C or Lightning, weeks per charge
The 900mAh battery charges in about 4 hours with a USB-C or Lightning cable, and lasts up to 30 days in use or 90 days on standby. The maker suggests topping it up every three months even when it's sitting in a drawer.

Measure your phone in its case
Inside, it's about 18.3 x 8.7 x 1.5 cm, which fits most iPhone, Samsung and Android phones, including many in a slim case. Folding phones and thick or rugged cases may not fit.
